On Saturday, January 27, Studio 550 will host a special exhibit featuring specially designed envelopes, many of which will be supplied by local residents. The Embellished Envelope Art Exhibition is intended to encourage the act of writing, and sending, handwritten messages. People interested in taking part can contribute their own embellished envelopes, which will then be made available for purchase at the event. There is no cost to submit a designed envelope, and artists have considerable freedom in their approach to their creation. In addition to showcasing local talent, this event will encourage people to think about how they can use the practice of letter writing to express affection and value for the people in their lives.

The Embellished Envelope Art Exhibit will be held on Saturday, January 27, from 6 pm until 7 pm. The envelopes will be displayed at Studio 550 until February 28. If you wish to enter an envelope, the deadline is 9 pm on Friday, January 26.

Cost:

There is no cost required for entering an envelope, or visiting the exhibit. Envelopes will be priced between $2-$12.
